Preclinical Medicine

The doctoral program of Preclinical medicine is orientated as interdisciplinary approach and cooperation of relevant experts as basis of complementarities for the development of scientific research in the field of medicine and biomedicine, in all levels of research-molecular, cells, organisms and population.

This PhD study program was firstly developed and approved by a carefully selected consortium consisted of relevant stakeholders from Austria, Belgium and United Kingdom, while the gained reaccreditation from Kosovo Accreditation Agency for period 2019-2022.

The subject area within the PhD program operates fits perfectly to the given priority on development of Medical Faculty and is fully in accordance with MEST priority in national research and development strategy. The program has a design with a clear focus on international recognition of ECTS and degree earned. Therefore, the intended learning outcomes are consistent with the National Qualifications Framework and the Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area in Medicine.
