Asst. Arbnore Ibrahimaj Gashi was born on July 29, 1982, in Istog, Kosovo. She completed her primary and secondary education in her hometown, while her university studies were pursued at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina, in the Physiotherapy program. She graduated in 2004 with a GPA of 9.48, being recognized as the Distinguished Student of the University of Prishtina. In 2011, she completed her postgraduate studies, earning a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy.
She further advanced her academic formation internationally, earning two doctoral degrees: a PhD in Kinesiology from “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje (2018) and a PhD in Physiotherapy from Alma Mater Europaea, Maribor, Slovenia (2024).
Since 2005, she has been engaged as a member of the academic staff at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physiotherapy. In 2017, she was elected as a full-time Assistant and later as a Lecturer, contributing to the development of study programs and the education of new generations of physiotherapists. For more than a decade, she also worked as a physiotherapist in clinical practice at the Diagnostic–Therapeutic Center “Rezonanca.”
Asst. Arbnore Ibrahimaj Gashi is the author and co-author of a significant number of scientific papers published in internationally indexed journals and has participated with presentations at national and international scientific congresses and conferences. She has attended numerous national and international trainings in the field of teaching and academic development, including programs organized by the University of Prishtina and Erasmus+, advancing her expertise in modern higher education methodologies.
She has also completed a wide range of professional trainings through which she has acquired advanced knowledge and contemporary techniques in physiotherapy, focusing on modern approaches to rehabilitation and improvement of clinical practice.
Within her institutional engagement, she has served as Secretary of the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Medicine and as Vice President of the Kosovo Chamber of Physiotherapists. She currently holds the position of Coordinator for Academic Development at the Faculty of Medicine. Through her academic, scientific, and professional work, Asst. Arbnore Ibrahimaj Gashi has made a significant contribution to the advancement of physiotherapy in Kosovo and to improving the quality of higher education in this field.
